Hello everyone! Sorry I've been absent from my blog for so long, but I've been struggling with some bothersome health issues lately. Today is a good day, so I've been going through my scrap papers to do a little "spring cleaning"! As I was cleaning, I found some papers I got when I started scrapbooking in 2002! Boy, am I a paper junkie! Well, I was able to come up with a card design using my scraps to put a smile on a friend's face:
I used my circle cutter (Martha Stewart) to cut a 4 & 1/2 in circle, then I used my 1 & 1/2 inch circle punch (Close to My Heart) to adhere circles around the card for a scalloped look. I cut different colors of paper (The Paper Studio) into banner shapes to adhere to the large circle. I stamped a sentiment title to the card (Technique Tuesday) , and I stamped flowers (Hero Arts) in colors to coordinate with the banners. I finished the card using clear gems (Recollections). A sweet and simple card to brighten someone's day!
As always, thank you so much for stopping by! Your comments are very much appreciated!! Have a wonderful day!
